BPP Goes Pole Dancing with Multimedia

BPP is Europe’s largest specialist professional and academic education, training and publishing provider. BPP refurbished its Birmingham premises in December 2012 and Accordial were proud to be involved in the design and installation of products for this facility.
Working closely with the client, Accordial were specified to design, manufacture and supply two multimedia display panels each fitted with three high definition television screens.

Accordial Manufacturing Speak Out On Acoustic Certification

Martin Sarsfield of Accordial Manufacturing the manufacturing arm of Alco Wall Systems Ltd has constructed a open letter talking about the acoustic test results of their acoustic movable walls.
As the largest manufacturer in the UK, Accordial Manufacturing is going to great lenghths to have British Test Certificates on a range of its walls to conform with BS EN ISO 140 Part3.

Silence is Golden at Doncaster Civic Centre

Partnership Between De Montfort and Accordial Manufacturing Produced an Outstanding Result

The recent Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) between Accordial Manufacturing Ltd and De Montfort University has just been rated Outstanding by the Governments, Technologies Strategy Board (TSB).
The associate for this partnership was Nick Rowan, who has been involved in the project for over two years and has now joined us full time to carry the initial work he started.
This is a very rare achievement and illustrates the successes of the partnership in surpassing its initial goals, which were to help Accordial Manufacturing develop new products and improve their onsite acoustic knowledge.

Nike 1948 Wins Certificate of Excellence

At the recent AIS Contractors Awards, Alco Wall Systems were awarded the Certificate of Excellence Award for its work at the Nike 1948 showroom in Batemans Row, London.
The judges stated that “we were so impressed with by the high standards of workmanship and technical expertise demonstrated on your project”
This was the first time that a movable wall was utilised in such a way as to have three video screens per panel operating independently within a track offering many different permutations.

Doncaster Civic and Culture Quarter- Civic Offices

Alco Wall Systems are pleased to announce their involvement in this new and most prestigious project.
SoundFlex absorption panels have been chosen to be used throughout the total environment. Manufactured at our factory in Loughborough they are the latest product innovation to be launched by Alco Wall Systems.
David Bolton, Alco’s in house acoustician said “this is a great project with many challenges”

Alco Wall Systems Dedication to Product Development is Rewarded Again!

As the acoustic specification of movable walls is of paramount importance to clients, an acoustic testing program was recently completed at The Building Test Centre, British Gypsum featuring the NW100 movable wall. With results of 54dB & 57dB achieved in accordance with BS EN ISO 140:3, the excellent performance of Alco Systems movable walls is highlighted again

Alco Walls Gain Two IOA Acoustician's

After completing a rigorous year long course at Derby University, Alco Wall Systems are proud to announce that their employees David Bolton and Nick Rowan have achieved the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control.
This continues Alco Wall Systems dedication towards the field of acoustics; we are currently the only UK based manufacturer of acoustic movable partitions to have our own dedicated acoustic test facility to develop better performing products for our clients.

Alco Walls Perform Well at the Albert Hall

When one of the changing rooms at the Royal Albert Hall needed some alteration, Alco Walls were ready to help. Giving the flexibility to expand the single room into a larger one, Winnie Wong of Originate Architects chose the NW100 Acoustic Movable Wall with four panels to do the job. To enhance the look of the sub-divided rooms a special digital print on Formica was used
