  1. Sirius Academy & Ganton SEN

    Alco Wall Completes First Hull School

    Alco Wall Systems have recently completed the first in a series of new build school projects
    at Sirius Academy & Ganton SEN, in Hull for Balfour Beatty Construction.

    This project comprises of seven 55dbRw acoustic rated NW100 Movable Walls, one of which is 23 metres long by 3.66m high on a radius turning through 180 degrees.

    Alco Wall Systems have recently undertaken a very unique and extremely complex installation of four Video Wall Panels within the new look Nike 1948 store in London’s trendy Shoreditch. The new 1948 store will not only stock the most exclusive Nike sportswear but will serve as a community space, encouraging Londoner’s to gather at the store for screenings and events on the run up to and during the London 2012 Olympics.

     

  3. Park Plaza Westminster Bridge

    The Park Plaza Westminster Bridge is the latest London Hotel following the successful completion of Park Plaza Victoria and Park Plaza Riverbank.

    Alco Beldan has recently completed projects for Park Plaza in Cardiff and Leeds.

    Working closely with the Park Plaza Group Architects from initial design to completion, 36 of Alco Beldan's NW100 Series acoustic movable walls was installed to offer multiple layout options and provide maximum flexibility.

  4. Scenic Panel at Manchester Central

    The new Central Foyer opened in December 2009 with a combination of seven NW100 Acoustic Walls giving the opportunity to create a total of six independent rooms within this newly constructed area

    The largest area has a combination of wall panels using high specification Acoustic Panels on the interior side and Digitally Enhanced scenic views on the external panels

  5. Front of Liverpool Convention Centre

    Liverpool Convention Centre Opens Its Doors in Variety of Ways

    Alco Beldan is pleased to announce the completion of one of the largest projects in Acoustic Movable Walls.

    The £1.1million project for the Liverpool Convention Centre to supply 340 panels, constructing a total of 34 separate walls ranging from 3 to 20 panels per wall were fitted across a total area of 2,400 sqm.

    Ten independent stacking areas are served by 1km of track including main runs and transfer tracks.

    Alco Beldan have been involved in BSF projects from the earliest days of the programme, working with top Contractors and Architects, on more than 10 Local Authority schemes totalling in excess of 500 movable walls. With many individual projects complete our walls are now being used in classrooms, multi-use halls, drama studios, music rooms and auditoriums resulting in fantastic feedback from both teaching and facilities management staff.

With many individual projects complete our walls are now being used in classrooms, multi-use halls, drama studios, music rooms and auditoriums resulting in fantastic feedback from both teaching and facilities management staff.

  9. Shaw Park Plaza sliding partition

    This project is interesting because it is on the site of the George Bernard Shaw Theatre, part of which has been incorporated into the scheme. The movable wall in the main function area is 4,300mm high and has a sound reduction rating of Rw 53dB. The panel finish on our walls complement and match the structural walls around the rest of the room . Movable walls are also installed in the reception breakout area leading into the main function room and incorporate 2 sets of double pass doors.
