Alco Education Projects Continue in Hull
Posted on 27th September 2011
Alco Wall Systems have recently completed their second Hull Academy project at Archbishop Sentamu.
The contract was carried out with Morgan Sindall Construction and London Architects HKS, and includes six NW100 Movable Walls achieving between 51 & 55dbRw, one of which is 6.6 metres high in the Drama Studio/Stage area.
The project also includes a unique fully double glazed NW100 Movable Wall (featured) 45dbRw, complete with two pass doors, forming an ‘L’ shape to enclose the Stage area from the central atrium.
The result is a stunning visual space, which gives the school total flexibility in the use of the available area.
Alco Wall Systems have also completed a further Academy at Winifred Holtby & Tweendykes for Morgan Sindall, and are currently on site at Kelvin Hall and West Hull, for Balfour Beatty Construction.
