Project Handover of Evolution, Stonegrove.

Alco Glass Systems are delighted to announce the handover of the project at Evolution, Stonegrove to Barratts West London, working alongside Sprunt (www.sprunt.net).

Alco Glass were contracted to provide 96 independent panels of 17.5mm Toughened Laminated HST white diffuser laminate, installed within a head and cill system running the entire perimeter of the sixth and seventh floors at the development. A total of 316 linear metres of running system was installed to provide the benefits of winter gardens to luxury apartments.

The systems were installed with track gates to allow the addition of extra panels to tailor the winter gardens to the tastes of individual occupiers and utilised the GlasMarte 15/24, twin track winter garden system, powder coated in RAL 9016. The system is expected to be subject to live load deflections in the region of +/- 15mm and has been designed to withstand a windload of 1.542kN/M².

The project was installed and completed within six weeks of commencement on site and marked an important addition to our commercial scale winter garden portfolio which includes a diverse range of glazing applications at the Wembley City development.
