    When Janine Stone Architecture was looking for a bespoke solution to open all three sides of an orangery in Oxfordshire, Alco Glass Systems suggested their ASL66 timber folding door system. Finished in dual colours; black outside to compliment the external façade with white inside to blend with the stunning finishes, carefully chosen by Janine Stone Interiors.

    When the new extension was being planned at The Old Maltings, Wincer Kievenaar Architects were pleased to suggest not one, but two Sky-Frame systems to give an ultimate panoramic view of the garden landscape.

    With an eight metre width on the left hand side, a combination of four panels (one fixed, three sliding) takes you straight out from the kitchen to the outside garden.

    This replicated on the right with three sliding panels enhancing the aspect from the living room area.

    Wincer Kievenaar were the Architects and the building work was constructed by R.K. Chenery Building Services Ltd

     

  3. Work continues apace at Queen Mary's Place

    Queen Mary's Place is a prestigious development in SW15 set within the grounds of Roehampton House, where the original architecture is being refined and scrupulously preserved to provide a mixture of beautiful homes and apartments whilst maintaining the heritage.  The existing gardens are being retained and enhanced, and attractive squares and courtyards are being created to provide a peaceful environment for residents.

    Alco Beldan is pleased to show one of their latest projects in conjunction with Kenneth Reid Architects. This substantial stone dwelling in Edinburgh was looking for an extension to the kitchen and in its owner’s words .....” to die for”. A stainless steel clad extension with inserts into the existing kitchen space helps to fuse the outside to in effect. Substantial light from the South facing aspect is enjoyed with this unique overall design.

  5. Luxury Beach House

    This recently completed house is a one off. Architecturally designed, it is situated on the South Coast facing the beach and sea

    The window frames used were stained hardwood selected to withstand extreme marine conditions imperative for this location

    Alco Beldan ASL 66 Sliding Folding Doors were installed on the elevation facing the sea.

    The complete glazing package comprises of tilt/turn windows, fixed glazing and high level electric vents

  6. La Bodega Captures the Sunlight With New Conservatory

    La Bodega in Hart Street, Henley- on-Thames was looking to extend into the attractive rear of the premises. Before constructing a traditional brick built structure, Alco Beldan was asked to look into a way of joining all the aspects to obtain an open structure. The result was a bespoke steel framed conservatory specially designed to accommodate air conditioning units and lighting to ensure maximum comfort for their patrons.

  7. Prestigious residence, St. George's Hill, Surrey

    A luxury home featuring a selection of Specialist Glazed Systems from the Alco Beldan range. Within the pool area a large channel set, frameless double glazed unit is fitted at the pool end with three windows to the side. Taking you from the gym area to the open balcony is a curved HSW 50 sliding door system. The kitchen area has an Alco Beldan ASL 80 sliding door system and Curtain Walling in what will be the morning room area.
